While creating unique shapes on the wheel is the “fun” part of throwing on the wheel, the cylinder is the starting point for many of those forms, and arguably one that should be mastered along the journey of growth in pottery.
After their bisque firing, the white clay body was first glazed on the inside with a cotton candy pink, followed by a matte white glaze on the body’s exterior to reveal a gentle and calming contrast.
