When I recieved a housewarming commission for friends in the food service industry, it was clear I needed to run with a thoughtful, whiskey-relevant design.
Borrowing from the qualities of cork-topped early 20th century whiskey jugs, crystal decanters and glass bottles, I determined to create a matching decanter and tumbler set that would enhance the serving and drinking experience for both host and guest.
The grooved and smoothed edges of the stackable tumbler base provide a texture worth inspecting with the drinker’s fingertips, while its rounded shape opens the door to an aromatic exploration of the host’s offering.
Completed from start to finish at home in the confines of COVID, this set represents a comittment to experience-focused design, that I bring into every new project.
